Anti-clockwise from left: My sis Delys, licking our mate Henry, My boyfriend Max's caressing hand, me, Max and finally, Delys' boyfriend Josh... can you see me squeezing del's cheeks..for some reason I couldn't work out who's hand it was for agessss (my excuse is that I never wear nail varnish..but honestly)
Yes..verrr good..loving this octopus light shade (imagining it in your room though, and it strikes me as slightly yucky...gangly human parts (if yer get me drift :):)) ...perhaps a revision on the design? a proper octopus head? ..perhaps a cutesy face??)
But anyway, i love octopus'..and this is right up my street!
Very much like these hook-lines you might see in self-help books (such as 'read yourself thin' or 'think skinny')......I have found that reading synonyms for calming words really helps me de-stress...ok look, whilst I have no problem admitting that one of my favourite books is in fact the thesaurus, you might think this is a little strange...but here, try it and see...
What did it make you feel? hmmmmm...peaceful, perhaps???
Good for stress and negativity (provided you hit up the antonyms of 'stress' and 'negativity' of course!!)
But regardless, I woke up far calmer than normal..(i.e. BEFORE I read the thesaurus hahhaaaaha!)
So why do I feel so calm today?? My work, worries, debts and regrets pile as high as they have ever been and yet I feel unusually calm...This is certainly saying something, normally I am an extremely highly strung/cynical/depressive(!) individual.
I wonder if looking up 'hype', to get hyped for a big night out, or 'confidence', for any aspect of life or performance (or both if you consider them one and the same) would work? I have a feeling it would.
...For me anyway.
'Elation, jubilation and intoxication' has a marvellous ring to it, don't you think? ...Especially the intoxication part.
...And here are the songs that never fail to make me feel euphoric...
Really loving the random colour combinations that people are indulging in... i have always loved mixing super strange and clashing (is there such a thing??) combinations.......so i guess, i like this trend cos it makes me look less wierd!!
I've been having abit of a platform moment ...so i recently just bought both these pairs of shoes...
These are from Bon Prix.co.uk for £17.90 would you believe!? Oh but don't be dismayed..Bon Prix have websites for over fifteen countries in the EU..unfortunately not for OZ or the US :(
If you're a lame-o like me, you'll be excited to find that many asian ebay shops are selling cheap knockoffs of both these designer shoe styles.... haaaa not a real cow in sight, producing these PLEATHER bad boyssss!
The colour combinations seen on the fakes do not exist for the designer versions...so i'm pretty hopeful and confident that they're definitely the actual product (and not photos of the designer original, hoping to mislead us into buying em, as can be the way with ebay..) anyway you can see they're fake leather quite clearly in the photos above...
...and here are the originals...by Peter Jensen and prada...
You may be wondering how I, as a designer, can support such outright fakery but when they're this good, of shoes so coverted, for such little money (listen up! they cost between £24 and £34!!!)..why not.
I mean seriously...guess the fake?? its pretty hard.
If you want further details of specific shops...i'll be happy to advise loves...
"I will mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that."
